Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate staff and/or emergency services when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, grounds, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance or policy concerns according to site expectations.
Support a respectful and professional environment by interacting with individuals experiencing sensitive circumstances and reporting behavioral concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
