Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate staff and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, grounds, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance or policy concerns according to site expectations.
  • Support a respectful and professional environment by interacting with individuals experiencing sensitive circumstances and reporting behavioral concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
