As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Routine Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership or emergency responders.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
