As a Security Officer - Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Boerne, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, warehouse spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and document observations, incidents, and daily activity in required reports.
• Support security-related operations by observing trailer movement, checking gates and doors, reporting maintenance or operational concerns, and assisting with site instructions for drivers and/or guests.
