As a Security Officer in Jefferson, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out assigned procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a food and beverage production environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Support Allied Universal standards by communicating clearly with site contacts, following post orders, and completing routine reports related to daily activity and/or incidents.
