Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be performing daily inspections and ensuring compliance with hotel security and safety requirements and procedures to protect hotel property, employees, and guests against theft, crime, threats, and safety hazards. This may include patrolling and inspecting assigned areas with specified equipment, monitoring surveillance cameras, and checking areas for unauthorized persons, fire, and safety hazards. You will also be responsible for maintaining security procedures and audit/department logs, ensuring guest room doors are secured, assisting guests with room access, and potentially inspecting employee belongings. Investigations into loss and safety incidents involving guests, employees, and/or hotel loss and safety exposure will be a key part of the role, requiring compliance with state and government regulations and hotel procedures. You may also be required to administer CPR and communicate with EMS/medical personnel, completing documented reports in accordance with company and hotel policies and procedures.
