About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Digital Records in Hershey, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of food and beverage production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas, with working conditions varying throughout the location.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support orderly operations.
• Report potential hazards, damaged property, unusual activity, and policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
