As a Security Officer Security Clearance Alarm Response in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in security-related roles is required.
  • An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately; communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
