Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support screening activities, monitor access points, and assist with security-related procedures. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal items entering or exiting designated areas in accordance with post instructions and applicable site protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or prohibited items to the appropriate contact in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, documenting observations and communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated screening areas, operational spaces, and perimeter locations as directed by site procedures.
