Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors and/or local authorities when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout designated areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and/or visitors in accordance with site protocols and transportation-related operational needs.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities through required reports, logs, and communication tools, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
