As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Reporting in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities in accordance with established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials as directed; and assist with visitor management and traffic flow.
  • Prepare accurate reports on incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities, while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and responding agencies.
