About The Position

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Reception Services in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, verify credentials, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment by monitoring entry activity and responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and other guests at a front desk location supporting aerospace and defense operations, while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Manage visitor reception activities, including verifying identification, reviewing access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
  • Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communications systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures and confidentiality requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate contacts.
