About The Position

Surefox North America Inc is a veteran-owned company seeking experienced part-time Security Officers with high integrity and professionalism. These officers will be available to work when called upon in multiple Surefox locations, servicing various clients. The ISOC PTE Security Officer is responsible for providing observation, physical security, and overwatch to assigned clients throughout Surefox Programs. A comprehensive background check is required due to the sensitive nature of this role. The company is looking for a team player willing to fulfill a variety of roles as needed. Requirements

Highly motivated Security Professionals with the ability to work at multiple Surefox locations with minimal training and supervision
Willing to work Days, Swings, and Grave shifts
Willing to work holidays and weekends
Eligible for employment within the United States
Minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
Possess a valid and current driver license and a clean driving record
Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
Must live within driving distance of San Francisco Bay Area or be willing to relocate
Must have a current BSIS guard card
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Must be able to pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation, or sign an attestation stating they can pass, prior to the scheduled start date

Nice To Haves

Security or law enforcement related experience preferred
Military background is a plus
Report writing experience preferred
CPR and First Aid Training is preferred

Responsibilities

Support staffing requirements at multiple Surefox campus locations during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, suspensions, holidays, or other program needs
Support and staff various positions, including, but not limited to: Resilience Officer, Incident Commander, Supervisor
Work security at events, as required
Work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and work during “high need” periods
Work and support multiple shifts, to include; Days, Swings, and Graves
Staff multiple office locations until permanent Resilience Officer or Incident Commanders can be hired
Be familiar and comply with standard operating procedures set by programs and/or clients
Develop relationships with clients, facilitate collaboration, and have the ability to influence informally across different departments within the team
Cooperate with partnering security vendors or operations centers
Track and report on program performance assurance and compliance requirements within the provided guidelines
Utilize basic electronic communications devices, including cellular devices or radios
Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot, while monitoring access
Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations onsite
Contact the police or fire department if and when there is an emergency
Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property
Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner
Attend project meetings upon request to assess the security implications of proposed changes
Work independently and adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high level of attentiveness and energy
