Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with onsite contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and resident activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol activity, and/or noteworthy observations in a clear and timely manner.
