Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to residents and guests. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe site activity to help to deter trespassing, disturbances, and/or policy violations while maintaining a courteous presence.
  • Communicate with property management, residents, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other property-related matters.
