About The Position
The Security Officer performs guard and patrol duties on campus grounds and in buildings to support the well-being of students and staff at the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR). The position is full-time and works the evening shift, 3:00 p.m. to midnight, Wednesday through Sunday, with Monday and Tuesday off.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs.
Nice To Haves
- Security experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Patrol grounds, conduct security checks, and monitor cameras.
- Permit or deny entrance and exit to campus and check bags.
- Oversee parking, control traffic, and check vehicles.
- Transport students as needed.
