This armed post requires applicable concealed carry and Act 235 qualifications. Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an Act 235 qualification, Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the healthcare facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required armed post equipment and complete accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
