About The Position
Adventist HealthCare Fort Washington Medical Center seeks to hire a Security Officer who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous security experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- Must possess a US Driver’s License
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must be able to respond to physically demanding emergency calls
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe environment for our patients, staff, visitors, physicians and volunteers
- Ensure quality outcomes for security department by communicating effectively with security, staff and the public
- Conducts foot patrols of the facility and parking areas.
- Conducts vehicular patrols of the parking areas and off site locations
- Assists with restraining violent patients
- Use time and resources in a financially responsible manner
- Foster group cohesiveness within the security department
- Portrays a positive image of the organization
