About The Position
Omni-Serv is a trusted leader in airport security solutions, dedicated to protecting people, property, and critical operations. With a strong employee-first culture, we deliver world-class customer service while ensuring safety and compliance in high-security environments. We are seeking Security Officers to join our team at JFK Terminal 4, JFKIAT.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in access control and security screening required
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- First Aid, CPR/AED, and Fire Guard certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-facing environment
- Strong situational awareness with the ability to remain calm and responsive during emergencies
Nice To Haves
- airport, terminal, or transportation security experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor areas for suspicious activity, theft, or unsafe conditions
- Conduct routine and random security inspections
- Respond quickly to alarms and incidents
- Assist with crowd control and keep pathways clear
- Report safety, security, or maintenance concerns
- Maintain professional appearance and communication standards
- Follow all JFKIAT procedures and SOPs
