About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time - Site Monitoring in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor alarm panels, assist visitors and employees, and support a welcoming, professional environment. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity, damaged access-control equipment, and potential hazards observed during assigned duties.
