As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Site Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a healthcare and life sciences location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and adherence to site entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
