Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access awareness, and communicate clearly while bringing a reliable, caring, and team-focused approach built on integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, helping to support orderly operations and timely communication.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff activity, helping to follow location protocols for entry, restricted areas, and after-hours movement.
Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in a clear and accurate manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
