About The Position
Securitas Security is seeking customer service-driven individuals for security positions. This role offers the opportunity to serve the community while receiving elite training in safety and security. We provide dedicated Region and Area Management Support Staff to foster growth and advancement within the company. This is a perfect role for those considering a career in the security field.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record required for some sites.
- High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
- Standard computer/technology skills needed.
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
- Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
- All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service background preferred.
- Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform conflict resolution and de-escalation.
- Conduct access control at security entrances/exits.
- Perform patrols inside and outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and terrain.
- Engage in frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
- Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
- Provide detailed written reports.
- Work in a team environment to achieve site/organizational goals.
- Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for the assigned site.
