About The Position

Directly responsible for maintaining a proficient operation while in the Security Communication Center, logging and passing on all vital information; dispatching other Security Officers / Associate Security Officers as needed; monitoring the CCTV monitors; responding to alarm monitoring systems, accessing and securing alarms when properly notified and documenting. Patrols the facilities and grounds to ensure the safety of personnel, visitors and patients. Investigate losses, vandalism, assaults, improper conduct, etc. Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, parking and traffic control, report unusual conditions. When scheduled, will perform the duties of a Lead Security Officer. In addition, assists in training activities for the facility. Ensures that critical response procedures are executed as prescribed (i.e., fire drills, critical response exercise, etc.). Audits reports, shift schedules, activity logs, battery inventory. Requirements

  • California Security Guard Registration upon hire.
  • 1 year of Security or dispatch experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework/Training: Penal Code 832 (Arrest and Firearms) Training
  • 1 year of Dispatcher experience.
  • 1 year of Hospital Security Officer experience.
