As a Security Officer - Overnights in East Dubuque, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate observations promptly. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including promptly reporting chemical hazards and/or unusual conditions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, storage areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident and patrol reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
