As a Security Officer Screening Agent in Mooresville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support security-related screening activities, monitor assigned areas, and interact with employees, visitors, and/or deliveries with professionalism. This role offers the chance to stay active, remain visible, and help to deter incidents while delivering strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen people, packages, bags, and/or incoming items in accordance with post instructions, reporting unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or other site activity as required.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, damaged access points, and/or operational issues.
