As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol a premier residential club community, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with residents and guests, and support a welcoming environment while demonstrating our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, members, guests, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity; verify authorization in accordance with site policies; and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Observe and report maintenance concerns, hazards, policy violations, and unusual activity to designated personnel in accordance with established procedures.
