As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional for a primarily driving patrol role at a residential community. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support residents through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge procedures is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with community policies, assisting with entry procedures and directing guests as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
