Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with established access-control and screening requirements for a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including the facility perimeter, to identify and report security-related concerns, damaged equipment, or policy violations.
