Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a defense-related location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or designated contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and maintenance concerns affecting daily operations.
• Support compliance with location rules for controlled areas, confidential workspaces, and after-hours activity while maintaining a professional presence during routine and high-priority assignments.
