As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Specialist in Grove City, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, assigned policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate staff when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances, hallways, waiting areas, and other designated spaces to help control access, observe visitor activity, and/or report suspicious behavior.
  • Support staff, patients, and visitors with directions, general assistance, and/or de-escalation during high-traffic periods or unexpected events.
