About The Position

This is a part-time Security Officer position responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. The role involves a variety of duties including incident reporting, guest and employee escort, hazard identification, emergency dispatch, and maintaining guest service standards. The officer must uphold company values and facilitate information flow through departmental meetings. Key responsibilities also include managing access to locked areas, verifying identification for age compliance, and operating company vehicles for secure transportation of assets.

Responsibilities

Assists with written reports regarding security-related incidents.
Escorts and observes guests and employees to ensure their safety.
Identifies potential safety hazards and reports them for resolution.
Serves as dispatcher during emergency situations and coordinates solutions.
Informs outside agencies of unusual or suspicious situations.
Operates company vehicles as directed.
Ensures safe transportation of company monies and gaming tokens.
Assists in the opening and closing of gaming tables.
Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction.
Lives by the Hard Rock values.
Attends departmental meetings to facilitate information flow.
Maintains a series of keys to access locked areas.
Requests and accepts identification from persons appearing under 21 to ensure compliance with gaming regulations.
