About The Position

Requirements

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Have at least one year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established financial institution procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including offices, lobby areas, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter, while reporting maintenance concerns or security-related hazards.
Assist with maintaining a professional environment by observing and documenting incidents, completing required reports, and communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
