Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor logs.
  • Receive and direct incoming calls, deliveries, and inquiries in a professional manner, providing clear information and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor security-related systems, alarms, and communications equipment; promptly report irregularities and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, emergency situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established response protocols.
