As a Security Officer - Full Time Corporate Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will be the welcoming, professional presence for visitors and employees. You will manage access procedures, monitor security-related activity, respond to inquiries, and communicate observations with site leadership. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry activity, access control systems, cameras, and communications equipment, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, provide directions and general information, and support the orderly flow of authorized personnel and deliveries.
