As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor permissions, and support security-related screening and access control procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Observe the location for potential hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations, and report findings to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site representatives.
