About The Position

Securitas is seeking Entry Level Security Officers to join our team. We offer weekly pay, excellent benefits, employee perks, and assistance with education. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. This role may require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs, as well as occasional lifting. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a lifetime background check and drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have excellent communication, customer service, and de-escalation skills.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Must be comfortable and efficient using computers.
• Must be willing to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, a hard hat, and long sleeves.
• Visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless authorized.
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
