About The Position
The Fox Studio Lot is looking for Part-Time Security Officers. The Fox Security Officer’s top priority is to provide a safe and secure work environment for our employees, guests, clients, and vendors.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service
- English language skills (verbal and written) must be at a level to communicate and give directions effectively during emergencies
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects (e.g., stage doors) that can weigh more than 50 pounds
- Current CA Guard Card
- Current CA driver's license
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of security or public safety experience
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities or incidents at an assigned site, providing for the security and safety of studio property and personnel
- Patrol assigned site on foot, bicycle or golf cart; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
- Control access to studio site or facility through the admittance process. This includes checking permissions of persons entering the lot and refusing to admit those without appropriate documentation
- Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents
