About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer to support a healthcare location in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role includes routine patrols, access control, badge verification, and responsive customer service. Officers maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, communicate with staff and visitors, and report security-related concerns. The position offers flexibility to claim additional shifts through the company’s Claim a Shift platform. The schedule is Thursday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 6:45 AM to 6:00 PM. The pay rate is $26.75 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in accordance with site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, direct guests, and report unauthorized access or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
