As a Security Officer Full Time Access Credential Intake in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication, routine access-control activities, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Requirements

Have at least two years of security-related experience.
Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, check credentials, and maintain visitor and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
Control access for delivery vehicles and personnel, direct traffic to designated areas, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
