Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, front-desk policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Greet and direct patients and visitors, provide information, and help maintain an orderly, professional reception area in a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor credentials as required, and communicate access concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
  • Support a welcoming healthcare environment by reporting unusual activity, facility concerns, and security-related issues to designated contacts.
