Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, remaining prepared to carry authorized armed equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable requirements.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity, unusual behavior, and/or policy violations at the location.
- Support cash handling and other sensitive operations by observing assigned areas, reporting irregularities, and following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures.
