About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Screening in Topton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor and employee activity, and support a welcoming environment. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, complete routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, process visitor and contractor arrivals, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized access.
  • Assist with enforcing site traffic, delivery, and visitor procedures while maintaining a professional presence and following applicable reporting requirements.
