Requirements
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns for further review.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with site instructions and restricted area requirements.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters as needed.
