About The Position
Securitas is hiring a Security Officer for a professional manufacturing client site in Franklin, NH. This position supports overnight security operations in a structured manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for a dependable candidate who is observant, professional, and comfortable following procedures. Previous security experience is helpful, but not required, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate is punctual, stays alert, communicates professionally, follows post orders, documents activity accurately, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
- Ability to follow detailed post orders and site procedures.
- Ability to complete accurate reports and daily activity logs.
- Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and respond to incidents throughout the shift.
- Must be professional, reliable, and able to meet site expectations.
- Candidates must be willing and able to complete the NH licensing process, which may include application paperwork, background review, and a trip to Concord, NH.
Nice To Haves
- Previous security experience is preferred.
- Previous customer service, military, law enforcement, corrections, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, dispatch, or gatehouse experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid NH Security Guard license/guard card preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor employee, visitor, contractor, and vehicle access to the site, verifying credentials, checking identification, maintaining visitor logs, and ensuring proper entry procedures are followed.
- Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, gates, parking areas, manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, and exterior property.
- Interact professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, drivers, and site personnel, assisting with directing authorized individuals and reporting unusual activity.
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security systems as required, responding to alerts according to site procedures and escalating concerns when needed.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, safety concerns, access issues, and other incidents in a calm and professional manner, communicating clearly with site personnel, emergency responders, and management.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, access records, and other required documentation.
- Follow all site-specific post orders, emergency procedures, safety policies, and client expectations.
- Represent Securitas and the client with professionalism, courtesy, and confidence, often serving as the first point of contact.
