Requirements

• Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a security-related role. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security protocols and procedures effectively.
• Candidates should possess experience with access control systems and badge management. Familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges is essential.
• Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for various tasks, including data entry, communication, and accessing company systems.
• Candidates should have a background in customer service, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and resolve issues efficiently.
• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate security-related reports and shift activity logs, including patrol findings, access-control activity, and incidents.
