Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support access control and loss prevention activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document security-related information. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, employee entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly, while helping to deter unauthorized activity.
