Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding grounds, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity; assist with directions, escort requests, and access-related concerns as assigned.
  • Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.
