About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Operations in Westerville, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor, package, key, and incident logs, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity by observing lobby activity and promptly reporting concerns through established channels.
