As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed TWIC Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to support daily operations through clear communication, routine patrols, and teamwork while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to port visitors, personnel, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned port facilities, roadways, gates, parking areas, buildings, waterfront-adjacent areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site policies and applicable procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related concerns, while maintaining professional communication with stakeholders.
