About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Alarm Panel Operations in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide customer service and communication. You will work as part of Allied Universal’s team, guided by a people-first culture, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors at a public health location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, entrances, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and provide directions or assistance to people entering the location.
Document observations, incidents, and policy violations in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
